Prien, LA

Prien is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, situated on the southeast shore of Prien Lake, which is a widening of the Calcasieu River. Operating as a southern suburb of Lake Charles, the residential community of approximately 7,119 is served by the Calcasieu Parish Public Schools system.
