Putnam Lake, NY

Putnam Lake is a hamlet and census-designated place in the eastern part of the town of Patterson, Putnam County, New York. Bordering Connecticut and developing from a rural dairy hamlet known as Valleyville into a dense lakefront community by the 1930s, the neighborhood of approximately 3,664 is served by the Brewster Central School District for public primary and secondary education.
