Quantico, MD

Quantico is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Wicomico County, Maryland, United States, along the former stage route from Vienna to the port of Whitehaven on the Wicomico River. Quantico consists of approximately 35 homes on the Quantico Creek. The community lies four miles from Hebron along Maryland Route 347. Quantico makes sense once you see how its past, landscape, and current gathering spots overlap. The useful thing to know about Quantico is that its older landmarks and current settings belong to one connected place. There are two churches, a general store, and a post office in the community. Quantico is part of the Salisbury, Maryland-Delaware Metropolitan Statistical Area.
