Randolph AFB, TX

Randolph Air Force Base, part of Joint Base San Antonio, sits on the northeast edge of the metro area and serves as a major training and administrative hub for the Air Force. Established in the early 1930s, the base has kept its flight training mission going strong for nearly a century, with trainer planes frequently in the sky as instructor pilots practice their routines.
