Random Lake, WI

Random Lake is a Sheboygan County village whose name puts the water right in the middle of the local map. The 2020 census counted 1,553 residents. It sits in the Sheboygan metropolitan area, with the village's streets and services gathered around the lake and the surrounding farm country. The Lakeview Community Library, fire and ambulance department, and public works department are all part of the small municipal setup. Random Lake High School serves students from the village and nearby communities, and its campus has been part of the local scene since the school opened in 1929; the current building dates to 1959.
