Rangerville, TX

Rangerville is a tiny, quiet rural community tucked just four miles southwest of Harlingen in the lower Rio Grande Valley. Home to around 250 residents, the village offers a peaceful country setting surrounded by wide-open fields and citrus groves. Its name traces back to an old Texas Ranger camp along a historic military trail, and the area later developed around deep agricultural roots, even producing Olympic gold medalist Bobby Morrow on a local cotton farm. Today, Rangerville gives residents plenty of elbow room and a relaxed pace of life while keeping the amenities of Harlingen just a short drive away.
