Raymore, MO

Raymore is a Cass County city in the Kansas City metropolitan area, south of the urban core. It was platted in 1872 and incorporated in 1877, but much of its modern character comes from suburban growth along the I-49 corridor. Raymore-Peculiar schools are a major local institution, and the Watkins Family Farm Historic District gives the city a link to its older rural past. It feels like a growing Kansas City suburb with a few visible small-town roots.
