Rebersburg, PA

Rebersburg is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Miles Township, Centre County, with 583 residents in the 2020 census. It sits in Brush Valley between Nittany Mountain and Brush Mountain, where limestone soil, Elk Creek, and long farm parcels shape the local map. The community grew from a place set aside for church, schoolhouse, and burial ground in the 1790s, then took the Reber name as the village developed. It lies within the State College metropolitan area but feels tied to the valley first.

Rebersburg’s strongest physical marker is its historic district, a collection of small-town buildings in a lightly settled farming valley.
