Red Oak, TX

Red Oak is a northern Ellis County city south of Dallas, part of the fast-growing suburban edge of North Texas. Early settlement in the area gave way to a small community that is now shaped by schools, highway access, new housing, and regional job growth. Most of the city is served by Red Oak Independent School District, and Texas State Technical College adds a practical education presence nearby. Red Oak feels like a Dallas-area suburb still carrying some older small-town structure under the growth.
