Redmond sits in Oregon's high desert just north of Bend, framed by sweeping mountain views and wide-open skies. The local economy is well-rounded, with strong roots in healthcare, aviation, manufacturing, construction, and hospitality. While regional bus lines connect Redmond to neighboring towns like Bend and Sisters, most residents rely on a car to commute and run errands.
