Redvale, CO

Redvale is a small, quiet community perched atop Wrights Mesa in southwestern Colorado. Home to under two hundred people, it sits at around 6,500 feet between the small towns of Norwood and Naturita. Colorado Highway 145 runs right through the area, giving residents a straightforward drive to regional services or weekend day trips into the San Juan Mountains. The local post office serves as the main neighborhood landmark, while the surrounding mesas offer sweeping high-desert views in every direction.

Life in Redvale centers around open space, privacy, and traditional western ranching. Properties tend to be spread out across the mesa, leaving plenty of room for horses, livestock, and sprawling gardens. While you will need to head to nearby towns for shopping and dining, the trade-off is clean air, quiet starry nights, and quick access to fishing, hiking, and hunting in the nearby Uncompahgre National Forest.
