Redwater, MS

Redwater, also known in Choctaw as Oka Homma, is a quiet rural community nestled in Leake County in east-central Mississippi. As one of eight official communities of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, it has a rich cultural heritage and a deeply rooted local history. Mississippi Highway 25 runs right through the area, giving residents a straightforward route south to Carthage for groceries and essentials, as well as easy drives toward Louisville and Jackson.
