About Reliance

Located just a few miles north of Rock Springs, Reliance is a quiet community that grew out of a bustling 1910 Union Pacific coal camp. You can still see plenty of that heritage today, from the landmark 1936 steel Reliance Tipple to the historic school gymnasium. It is an appealing spot for anyone looking for open space and a slower pace of life while staying close to regional employers and shopping.
