About Remington

Remington is a Symmes Township census-designated place in Hamilton County's Little Miami River valley, sitting among Loveland, Indian Hill, and Camp Dennison. The hamlet kept its identity as the township's roads and suburbs spread around it, and it remains one of the sites of the Loveland Symmes Fire Department. Its school history is part of the wider Indian Hill story: Remington once had a two-room school, and the Remington School District joined Camp Dennison, Franklin, Jefferson, and Washington in the Indian Hill Rural School District in 1936. The river valley, old schoolhouse memory, and fire station give Remington a clear local shape even without an incorporated village government.
