Remy is a census-designated place in Sequoyah County, in eastern Oklahoma’s Fort Smith, Arkansas-Oklahoma metropolitan area. It sits within the county’s Roland Division, among homes, pasture, tree lines, and county roads spread across a broad rural landscape. There is no compact downtown to define the place; residents connect with nearby communities for schools, groceries, medical care, and other regular needs. Fort Smith lies across the state line, while Sallisaw serves as Sequoyah County’s seat and a regional destination for errands.
