Rice Tracts, TX

Rice Tracts is a Cameron County community that makes more sense from its edges than from a conventional downtown. It is an unincorporated community and census-designated place, first listed under that label before the 2020 census; that census counted 733 residents. The community lies six miles south of San Benito and 15 miles northwest of downtown Brownsville, with Brownsville, Encantada-Ranchito-El Calaboz, and Palmer meeting it along different sides.
