Rio Vista sits right along the Sacramento River in the heart of the California Delta, anchored by its iconic yellow lift bridge on Highway 12. For commuters, the Delta Breeze bus offers convenient weekday connections to Fairfield and the nearest BART station. On weekends, residents head to the public boat launch right behind City Hall for fishing and boating, especially during the annual fall Bass Derby, a town tradition that has brought neighbors together since 1933.
