Risco is a city in New Madrid County, Missouri, United States. The 2020 census counted 286 residents. A post office called Risco has been in operation since 1903. The community derives its name from the Frisco Railroad. The school system consists of an elementary school, a combination middle and high school and a gymnasium, all on the same plot of land.
