About Riverton

Riverton is a city in Fremont County, Wyoming, founded in 1906 on land ceded from the Wind River Indian Reservation and named for the four rivers that converge in the area. Central Wyoming College is located in the city, and public education is administered by Fremont County School District No. 25.
