Robeline, LA

With just over a hundred residents, Robeline is a quiet, close-knit village in western Natchitoches Parish. Life moves at an easy rural pace here, though the surrounding area has fascinating roots as the former home of Spanish Texas's colonial capital at Los Adaes. The whole community turns out each October for the annual Robeline Heritage Festival, bringing neighbors together for food, crafts, and music.
