About Roberta
Roberta is a Crawford County city at the meeting point of U.S. 80 and U.S. 341, with a downtown history that reaches back beyond the railroad. Benjamin Hawkins built a plantation and trading post on the Flint River, and the later Creek Agency connection still shows up in the city’s historic markers and monument. Roberta also keeps its rail story visible with a restored 1962 Seaboard Coastline caboose beside the downtown depot. Around those pieces, the city’s current map includes parks, local businesses, and Crawford County schools. Roberta is a middle-Georgia town where Creek Agency history, railroad hardware, and a small downtown still share the same address.
