About Robinson

Robinson is a Kidder County city with 36 residents and 44 housing units in the 2020 Census. It was established as a Northern Pacific Railroad townsite and named for John F. Robinson, president of the First National Bank in Steele. The town hall rose in 1935 through a Works Progress Administration project after Robinson voters approved a $2,000 construction bond. Agriculture and hunting form part of the local economic setting. The Census boundary covers 445,966 square meters of land at 47.1421°N, 99.7813°W.
