Rockford Bay, ID

Rockford Bay is a tiny Kootenai County census-designated place tucked around a south-end bay of Lake Coeur d'Alene, roughly 12 miles southwest of Coeur d'Alene. The 2020 census counted 325 residents. The shoreline, forested hills, boat ramps, and lake roads do the organizing here. Kootenai County's public launch sits on Rockford Bay Road, and the bay also has a marina, so the place reads more like a lakeside pocket than a standalone town.
