About Rockland

Rockland is a city and the county seat of Knox County, Maine, situated along Penobscot Bay. Renowned as a major lime producer in the nineteenth century, the community of approximately 7,035 hosts the annual Maine Lobster Festival and is home to the Farnsworth Art Museum.
