Rogersville is a historic town and the county seat of Hawkins County, Tennessee, settled in 1775 by the grandparents of Davy Crockett. Home to the state's second-oldest courthouse and a National Register-listed historic district, the community of approximately 4,647 is named for founder Joseph Rogers and is served by the Hawkins County School District.
