Rose Valley, PA

Located along Ridley Creek in Delaware County, Rose Valley is a quiet, heavily wooded community just outside Philadelphia. Originally established at the turn of the twentieth century as an Arts and Crafts colony, the borough retains much of that artistic character through its custom stone cottages, preserved green spaces, and distinctive architecture. The historic Hedgerow Theatre still puts on live productions in a converted nineteenth-century mill, and most of the town is designated as a protected historic district.

Residents enjoy access to the highly regarded Wallingford-Swarthmore School District, as well as the progressive School in Rose Valley for younger children. Getting around is straightforward, with the Moylan-Rose Valley SEPTA station offering a direct train ride into Center City Philadelphia, while the restaurants and shops of downtown Media are only minutes away. It offers a great mix of historic charm, neighborhood warmth, and easy suburban convenience.
