Rosebush, MI

Rosebush is a quiet, small village in central Michigan with just a few hundred residents, tucked a short drive north of Mount Pleasant within Isabella Township and the Saginaw Chippewa reservation. The town got its start in the mid-1800s under the fitting nickname "Halfway" because of its location right between Mount Pleasant and Clare. When the railroad arrived a few decades later, the community was renamed in honor of a local resident's wife, Rose Bush, and it has kept its relaxed, rural pace ever since.
