Roseville, MI

Roseville is a Macomb County city about 14 miles northeast of downtown Detroit. Its name goes back to William Rose, who established the area's first permanent post office in 1840 and named it for his father. Today Roseville is a mature inner-ring Detroit suburb, served by Roseville Community Schools and Fraser Public Schools. It has the practical feel of many southern Macomb communities: established neighborhoods, commercial roads, auto-era development, and quick access to Detroit, Lake St. Clair communities, and the broader east-side suburbs.
