About Rosston

Rosston is a Harper County town with 52 residents and 19 housing units in the 2020 Census. Raphael H. Ross homesteaded nearby in 1901, opened a general store in 1907, and saw a townsite form on his property after the Wichita Falls and Northwestern Railway crossed the county in 1912. Oklahoma's National Register handbook lists the Old Settler's Irrigation Ditch north of Rosston along U.S. 283. The Census boundary covers 710,064 square meters at 36.8129N, 99.9327W.
