Rotonda, FL

Rotonda is a Charlotte County planned community on Florida's Gulf Coast side, closely associated with Rotonda West. The land was once part of a large cattle ranch owned by Vanderbilt descendants before being developed into a deed-restricted residential community. Its circular street layout, canals, golf courses, and residential subdivisions give it a very different feel from older Florida towns. Rotonda is tied to nearby Englewood, Lemon Bay, and Gulf beaches, with daily life centered on retirement, recreation, and planned neighborhood living.
