Royse City, TX

Royse City is a growing North Texas city in Rockwall County, east of Dallas and near Greenville. Named for Byrd Royse, it has older small-town roots but now works largely as a bedroom community for the Dallas metro. The entire city is served by Royse City Independent School District, and new subdivisions, highway access, and commuter patterns are reshaping the area quickly. Royse City feels like a former rural railroad town moving into the orbit of fast suburban growth.
