Rye is a small, quiet community along the Beeline Highway in the foothills just south of Payson. Surrounded by the open expanse of the Tonto National Forest, the area offers big mountain views, cooler high-desert weather, and plenty of elbow room. A couple of roadside businesses serve the immediate area, while Payson is an easy ten-minute drive north for groceries, schools, and medical care, giving residents a great blend of rural privacy and everyday convenience.
