About Sabina
Sabina was laid out by Warren Sabin in 1830, and the original plat held 37 lots. That gives the Clinton County village a straightforward local origin: one pioneer, one survey, and a name that stayed put. Today Sabina has two village parks and sits along the Clinton-Fayette Friendship Trail, which begins near Melvin Road and runs through town toward the county line. East Clinton schools connect the village with the surrounding countryside, while Routes 22 and 3 point toward Wilmington and the wider county. The local shorthand is a surveyed Ohio village, a rail-trail corridor, and a place where the parks and old plat still tell the basic story.
