Sacramento, KY

Located in western Kentucky's McLean County, Sacramento is a quiet, friendly town centered around the intersection of Highway 81 and Route 85. The settlement started out in the 1850s as a rural crossroads with a post office aptly named Social Hill, before taking its current name from a local who returned from the California Gold Rush. Today, it offers a peaceful country setting with plenty of open space, while still keeping residents within an easy drive of Owensboro and Madisonville.

Community pride runs deep here, whether neighbors are rallying behind Sacramento Elementary or gathering for the town's annual Civil War reenactment.
