security Harbor is a small Pinellas County city on the west side of Tampa Bay. Its name is tied to the sheltered water that made the area a secure landing place, and its history reaches much further back through Native American sites that have yielded pottery, copper, shell, and stone artifacts. Philippe Park is one of the city's best-known public spaces, with waterfront views and local archaeological significance.
