Salix, PA

Salix is an unincorporated census-designated place in Adams Township, Cambria County, near the geographic center of the township and about 11 miles east of Johnstown. The 2020 census counted 1,043 residents. Forest Hills School District serves local students, while township offices, volunteer fire and ambulance services, and water and sewer authorities handle the everyday infrastructure. Salix sits in the Johnstown-area road network, with wooded hills, scattered homes, churches, and small local businesses around the township roads.
