Samburg is a tiny, laid-back community of around 200 residents tucked along the eastern shore of Reelfoot Lake in northwest Tennessee. The lake itself formed during the historic 1811 New Madrid earthquakes, giving the surrounding area a unique natural landscape. Samburg is also a resilient town where neighbors have banded together to rebuild following a devastating 2021 tornado.
