San Felipe Pueblo sits along the Rio Grande between Albuquerque and Santa Fe, about ten miles north of Bernalillo. It is one of the most traditional Native American communities in New Mexico, where residents still speak the native Keres language and maintain deep cultural ties to the land. While day-to-day life here remains private and centered around tribal heritage, the village welcomes visitors each May for its renowned Saint Philip Feast Day, featuring hundreds of dancers taking part in the traditional Green Corn Dance.
