Sanderson is a census-designated place in and the county seat of Terrell County, Texas, United States. The 2020 census counted 664 residents. Sanderson was created in 1882 as a part of neighboring Pecos County. Sanderson became the seat of Terrell County in 1905. Both the high school and junior high school have a six-man football team.
