Tucked into the rugged hills on the eastern edge of Simi Valley, Santa Susana offers a quiet, canyon-style retreat with a distinct small-town feel. The community originally grew around a historic 1903 railroad depot and gradually developed into the scenic hillside neighborhood known locally as the Knolls. Many of the homes and cabins here are built right among dramatic sandstone boulders, giving the area a rustic, tucked-away atmosphere while remaining close to neighborhood schools and city amenities.
