About Santaquin

Santaquin is a Utah County city south of Provo, set near the transition between Utah Valley and the open country leading toward Juab County. It lies southeast of Utah Lake and was one of the early settlements along the Salt Lake Road, first settled in late 1851. The city borders Genola to the northwest and is served in part by Nebo School District. Santaquin still has a small-city and agricultural edge, even as growth from the Wasatch Front pushes farther south.
