Sauk Rapids, MN

Sauk Rapids is a Benton County city on the Mississippi River, near its confluence with the Sauk River and directly across from St. Cloud. The town was named for the rapids below the Sauk River's mouth, and that river geography still frames the place. Early settlement followed river and regional travel routes, while modern Sauk Rapids is closely tied to the St. Cloud metro.
