Scipio, OK

Scipio is an unincorporated community in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma, United States. The 2020 census counted 53 residents. The community is 12 miles northwest of McAlester. The community was named for nearby Scipio Creek, which was in turn named for the Roman general Scipio Africanus.
