Scituate, MA

Scituate is a South Shore Massachusetts community with a working harbor, coastal neighborhoods, and old New England roots. Its name comes from an Indigenous word understood by early English settlers as "cold brook," and a small fishing fleet still operates from Scituate Harbor. Lawson Tower is one of the town's most recognizable landmarks, while the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade brings a very local burst of energy each March. Scituate feels coastal, historic, and lived-in rather than purely resort-like.
