Sea Breeze, NC

Sea Breeze is a small, unincorporated coastal community in New Hanover County, tucked between Wilmington and Carolina Beach. Home to a little over 2,000 residents, the area offers a relaxed, water-oriented setting surrounded by tidal creeks, salt marshes, and the Intracoastal Waterway. Because the community does not have its own town government, locals rely on county services and head to neighboring towns for most of their everyday shopping and errands.

Families are zoned for the New Hanover County school district, with several public schools located a short drive away. Highway 421 runs straight through the area, providing an easy route north to Wilmington for major medical centers, shopping, and jobs, or south to the beaches. Neighborhood marinas and boat ramps make getting on the water simple, while coastal weather, summer beach traffic, and storm prep are familiar parts of the yearly routine.
