Sebastopol, MS

Sebastopol is a town in Leake and Scott counties, Mississippi. The 2020 census counted 266 residents. Sebastopol was originally called "Hathaway Springs". The town was in existence before the Civil War but not incorporated until 1917. The district has one public K-12 school, Sebastopol Attendance Center, which has the mascot Sebastopol Bobcats. Sebastopol makes sense once you see how its past, landscape, and current gathering spots overlap. The useful thing to know about Sebastopol is that its older landmarks and current settings belong to one connected place. Most of the town is located in Scott County, with a small portion in Leake County.
