About Seguin

Seguin is the county seat of Guadalupe County, Texas, east of San Antonio. It is one of the older towns in the region and has a strong Texas frontier identity, including ties to the Texas Rangers and Captain Jack Hays. The city marked its centennial with Max Starcke Park, a riverfront park with a golf course, picnic areas, and a scenic drive. Seguin has grown quickly in recent years, but its civic personality still comes from county-seat history, river recreation, and old Texas institutions.
