About Selma

Selma is a small city spread across Guadalupe, Bexar, and Comal counties on the northeast side of San Antonio. Settled in 1847 by European immigrants, it now sits in one of the region's fastest-growing suburban corridors. Retama Park is a familiar local landmark, and school assignments connect parts of the city to Judson Independent School District. Selma feels commercial, fast-moving, and suburban, with I-35, new development, older settlement traces, and San Antonio's growth all pressing through the same narrow stretch.
