Seton Village sits in the rolling foothills about six miles south of Santa Fe, easily accessible from the highway yet remarkably quiet. The community got its start in 1930 when naturalist and author Ernest Thompson Seton bought land to establish an outdoor school and creative retreat. He laid out adobe houses, studios, and gathering spaces around a central oval plaza, with his own residence, Seton Castle, anchoring the property.
