About Seven Mile

Seven Mile is a Butler County village organized around Route 127 and Route 503, with the two highways meeting at the center. The village incorporated in 1875, and its map still has the useful small-town pieces close together: Seven Mile Market, Village Perks, two churches, a community park, and Main St. Plaza with a little free library and Bookmobile visits. The Seven Mile Fire and Life Squad and part-time police department handle local services, with volunteers doing much of the work.

Seven Mile Elementary is the only school inside the village, while Edgewood Local School District serves the wider student line. Community Park hosts the annual Oktoberfest, and Memorial Park adds a gazebo and flag across from Main St. Plaza. The name comes from Sevenmile Creek, but the current town is easier to know through its intersections, parks, market, coffee shop, and volunteer services. Seven Mile has a compact Butler County map with a real center of its own today.
